1. Steelers -3.5

I know what you’re thinking: how on earth can you take the Steelers after the massive egg they laid in New England on Sunday night? It is certainly a fair question, especially after Pittsburgh was massively outclassed by the Patriots once again in Foxboro.

This is a classic Week 1 overreaction, and its important to remember that this is still a very good football team. The Steelers never match up well with the Patriots, and there is too much talent in that locker room to assume they will completely flop this season.

The opposition is Seattle, which struggled mightily to get by the presumptive AFC North cellar dwellers in the Cincinnati Bengals. Despite entering that game as 9.5 point favorites, the Seahawks found themselves trailing the Bengals into the fourth quarter before a Russell Wilson bomb to Tyler Lockett put them ahead for good.

Next. Texans still haven't fixed their offensive line. dark

Another important factor to consider is that the Steelers are home, and Ben Roethlisberger has played far better at Heinz Field then on the road in recent years. Home cooking and desperation should be the key to a strong win for the Steelers, who are in clear need of a win to keep pace with the Ravens in the division.
