Press Conferences, British Rounds, and an MIA star

There’s a few other things going down on this episode, but the main one is Noam Dar hosting a press conference to make a major announcement. For some reason, he says that the last two weeks have been the worst of his life. Dude, sure we’ve been saying your match shouldn’t have been on the card, but you won at TakeOver! Then, he states that he can now officially announce that he is simply the best. Okay.

All the while, Trent Seven is taking a phone call at an obnoxiously loud volume before wondering what the hell all of this is and what Noam is even doing here. After a phone call to Drake Maverick’s personal cell — which he takes a break from not consummating his marriage to answer — Dar storms off and the segment is over. Looks like we’ll be getting a Noam Dar-Trent Seven feud over Seven being too obnoxious at Dar’s weird obnoxious fake press conference?

Sid Scala and Johnny Saint disapprove of Kassius Ohno’s tactics to win his match against Scala last week. As such, we’re going to see just how good of a British wrestler Ohno is when him and Scala have their rematch next week. This isn’t any normal match however, this will be the first British Rounds match in NXT history. We mentioned it in the preview, but holy hell is it weird to be rooting for a non-wrestling authority figure to get one up on a wrestler.

Also, Toni Storm is nowhere to be found for her interview with Radzi and has probably run off humiliated to NXT Prime. We’ll see.

That will wrap up this recap of NXT UK. Let us know your thoughts on anything related to the show down in the comments below. And if you happened to enjoy anything you read, give us a share on the social media platform of your choosing.
