1. Manchester City hit Norwich for seven

The later game on Saturday sees newly-promoted Norwich host current Champions, Manchester City. Norwich have looked good so far this season and are a little unfortunate to only have three points to their name.

The way that Daniel Farke’s team play is impressive but it leaves them very open at the back and most Premier League teams will find a way to score against them. The only problem for Norwich fans is that Manchester City aren’t “most teams.”

Pep Guardiola is probably a supporter of Norwich’s style as it’s reminiscent of his approach to the game. However, that also means that the Spanish manager knows how perfectly to exploit a team that plays this way. Combine that with the fact that City have one of the best sides in Europe and this could be a long evening for the Canaries.

Kevin de Bruyne was in sensational form against Scotland on Monday whilst Raheem Sterling ran riot against Kosovo on Tuesday. Sterling is undoubtedly one of the best players in the game right now and it’s amazing to see the progress he’s made under Guardiola despite being a great player, to begin with.

It will be interesting to see how Farke approaches this match. Ultimately it doesn’t matter if his side win or lose this match as the fans shouldn’t be expecting them to take anything from it. However, a drubbing could hurt the players’ confidence which will have a greater emphasis on a newly-promoted team.

Norwich will go for it and that will be their downfall. The Canaries may find the back of the net through Teemu Pukki but Manchester City will be rampant and notch a whopping seven goals.
