Draftkings NFL GPP pivots: Running Back

Chalk: Austin Ekeler, Josh Jacobs, Alvin Kamara, Matt Breida

Pivots: Devin Singletary, Mark Ingram, Sony Michel

Mark Ingram looked great in his game with Baltimore, scoring two TDs and rushing for over 100 yards on only 14 carries. While he does have to worry about losing some carries to Gus Edwards and Justice Hill, he was still clearly the top back for the Ravens and those two backups’ touches were inflated by the fact that the game was route from the second quarter on. I am going right back to him this week against a weak Arizona defense.

Sony Michel was a huge bust in week one, but that had a lot to do with the fact that Patriots abandoned the run pretty early and proceeded to pass all over the Steelers defense the rest of the evening. He’s in the ultimate bounce-back spot here against a Miami team that was gashed by the Ravens in the run game and he could have a positive game script working for him here if the Pats get up big early and just decide to pound the rock all afternoon.

Devin Singletary is my favorite pivot this week and looks like he could also be potentially the lowest owned of this trio of backs. The electric young back only touched the ball 9 times in week one but produced 98 yards. He had five receptions, which is important for PPR scoring on Draftkings, and should be featured more this week by a Bills offense that faces a Giants defense that was gashed by the Cowboys last week.
