NFL FanDuel: Week 2 DEF Targets – (Early Only)

New England Patriots – $4,900 – (GPP)

I paid up for the Ravens last week against the Dolphins, and I got my double-digit points I needed. This week the Patriots get Miami, and why not go right at them again?

I ended last week’s blurb with the fact that I think the Dolphins have a shot at being historically bad this year, and they went out and got destroyed 59-10 at home. It is pretty scary to think of what New England can do to them after they went out and easily handled the Steelers 33-3 in a home rout.

The Steelers are certainly not an offensive juggernaut anymore, but they shouldn’t have been this bad. I think quite a bit can be said about this Patriots defense because of it. They only had one sack and one INT, but holding Pittsburgh to three points is very impressive.

Because of the lack of value below $7K at the QB position, I will not be able to pay up here in cash, but the Patriots are my number one defense on this slate with a bullet.
