Fantasy Football picks: Week 2 single game breakdown

Le’Veon Bell – Although he is currently questionable with a shoulder injury, it is likely he will play. With Darnold out, Bell is going to have to carry the entire offensive workload on his back. I remember right before the season started, some “sources” stated that Bell was going to cede carries to Montgomery early in the season. Well, in week one, Le’Veon played 100% of the offensive snaps, rushing for 60 yards, catching six passes for 32 yards, and a score. I am willing to bet that his snaps will decrease in this game, especially if the Jets get blown out early. However, if it stays even somewhat close, Bell could have a big day, especially if you consider how badly that Browns defense got beaten up by Derick Henry last week.

Baker Mayfield – Baker is not only the most expensive player on this FanDuel single game slate, but he also comes with the most scrutiny. He had a 65% completion rate, on 285 yards, one score, and three interceptions against the Titans. One would say that is a pretty bad stat line considering all of the hype surrounding the young star coming into this season. People put too much thought into week one performances, and this could really drop his ownership numbers in this game. We will have to monitor the ownership throughout the day, but the Jets secondary really struggled with the Bills offense after Mosley left. They will be without Mosley for this game, and Cleveland should be able to take full advantage.
