Fantasy Football picks: Week 2 single game breakdown

Robby Anderson – So this is a very interesting value play. On one hand, he gets an atrocious match-up with Denzel Ward, and he also lost his starting quarterback. On the other hand, it is a very rare occasion that we get a good number one receiver at 9k on FanDuel. This is a great low risk, high reward play. We can keep our expectations low, and if he does anything more than five points we should be very happy with that performance.

Rashard Higgins – “Hollywood Higgins” is coming into this game with a questionable tag, but if he plays, Rashard would be one of my favorite plays on this slate. At 6.5k we are getting an amazing discount on a receiver who could easily put up 15 points. Higgins has some good chemistry with Baker, and is a good deep route runner. As mentioned earlier, the Jets are very susceptible to the deep ball, and yet again, this is a very low risk, high reward play.

Ty Montgomery – It has already been stated that Ty will be getting more snaps this week, even with Bell likely to play. With Le’Veon at likely less than 100% healthy, Ty is more than capable of handling a larger workload, to take some of the stress off of Bell. I would expect Ty to get at least ten touches, if not more depending on if this game gets out of hand.
