Fantasy Football picks: Week 2 single game breakdown

In this section, I will provide a section ranking my top five GPP plays on the day. This is in descending order, starting at fifth, going down to my favorite play. I will also list my “dart throw of the day” which is my favorite high upside value play.

In GPP’s do not be afraid to get weird with it, because if yesterday’s games showed us anything, its that Football is very unpredictable at times. Sometimes, the most obvious teams will come out and put up a massive goose egg, but then the terrible Jets could very well come out and destroy the Browns, ruining an already difficult slate. Take a chance, play Robby in your MVP slot, close your eyes, and say a prayer. Taking risks might just win you a very nice chunk of change on a Monday night.

Top NFL Monday FanDuel Rankings:

Rashard Higgins – 5

Baker Mayfield – 4

Odell Beckham Jr – 3

Nick Chubb – 2

Robby Anderson – 1

Dart throw of the day – Higgins

The last piece of advice I have for this single game slate is to not get wrapped up in spending all of your available salary. If you have $1,000 leftover, but you really like your lineup, do not try and find a spot to spend the rest of your salary. Leave the build alone, this isn’t a normal slate where we need to maximize every dollar we have to get the best build possible. Try to stand out, and go with your gut. Time and time again on these single-game slates, you will see people play the chalkiest lineup possible, and fill out all of the salary, thinking they have the best lineup of all time, just to be disappointed two hours later.
