Browns – $5,400
The Jets are starting Trevor Siemian at quarterback, I want any defense that gets to play against Trevor Siemian.
Jets – $3,000
Baker Mayfield threw 3 interceptions last week with one going for a touchdown. He takes chances down the field and has no problems throwing into coverage while also holding onto the ball longer trying to make big plays down the field. In what should be a low scoring running back dominated game, both defenses are in play for me.
Austin Seibert – $3,400
In low scoring games, I always have an interest in the kicking game as both kickers are viable this week. The other players in the 1-3.5k range also are not likely to contribute making the kickers even more of a priority tomorrow night.
Sam Ficken – $3,200
DraftKings Week 2 Showdown: Game Script Thoughts
The line opened with the Browns as a 2.5 point favorite and a total of 45.5. With the news that Sam Darnold, C.J. Mosley and Quinnen Williams out, the line re-opened with the Browns a 6.5 point favorite. The Browns are in need of a bounce-back win after an abysmal performance at home against a below-average Titans team. I am looking for Mayfield to play much better with an emphasis on the ground attack this week opening up play-action and shots down the field to Odell Beckham Jr. I think the Browns will ride Nick Chubb and an efficient Baker Mayfield to a 27-13 win over the New York Jets.
