4. Cleveland Browns

The Browns has shifted from accumulating future assets to win-now mode, with general manager John Dorsey making deals for Odell Beckham Jr. and Olivier Vernon just last offseason. He also traded up to get Greedy Williams in the second round of  April’s draft, to address a need there, and Williams has immediately joined Denzel Ward as a starting corner for Cleveland.

With Baker Mayfield on a rookie contract for the next few years, the Browns are sitting pretty in terms of cap space. Ramsey’s aforementioned cap hits over the next two years ($3.2 million and $13.7 million) are not prohibitive at all, even without taking into account his talent level.

A cornerback pair of Ramsey and Ward would immediately become one of the best in the NFL for years to come. With the front seven, led by Myles Garrett, well-situated right now, creating a lockdown secondary should be next up on Dorsey’s agenda. A trade for Ramsey would be the big move to make it happen and one of the calls the Jaguars have already fielded could very well have come from Cleveland.
