Fantasy football: Week 3 waiver wire pickups – QB’s
Matthew Stafford, DET
Stafford is quietly putting up top-10 numbers. While his Week 2 performance wasn’t as great, 245 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, he was an efficient passer, 22-for-30, against the Chargers.

He and the Lions head to Philadelphia to face the poor Eagles secondary. With Marvin Jones, Kenny Golladay, Danny Amendola, Jesse James and T.J. Hockenson, the Eagles defense will have their hands full.
Stafford has plenty of options to throw it to. I think he has a big game, close to 30 points.
Gardner Minshew, JAX
In his first start, Minshew completed 23-of-33 passes for 213 yards, a touchdown and a fumble. A Week 3 matchup against the Titans could lead to another good game from Minshew.
He has some solid weapons at his disposal. With DJ Chark, Chris Conley, James O’Shaughnessy and even Leonard Fournette, the Jaguars could have a big game. I wouldn’t use him in 10-team leagues but in deeper leagues or even DFS, he’s a solid play.
Will Dissly, SEA
This may be recency bias, but Dissly looked good in Week 2. He caught all five of his targets for 50 yards and two touchdowns. While Tyler Lockett and D.J. Metcalf are the top two receivers, Dissly is third on the target depth chart.
At 6-foot-4, Dissly is a top red-zone target as he has four touchdowns in six career games. The tight end position is a roller coaster after the top three names. The Seahawks face the Saints in Week 3 which could end up being ugly with Teddy Bridgewater under center for New Orleans.
The waiver wire is already getting thin with my 40 percent ownership cutoff and some bad matchups. But, for Week 3, these players could lead your team to success and one win closer to making the playoffs. Thanks for stopping by FanSided Fantasy!
