NFL quarterback rankings, Week 2: Patrick Mahomes isn’t human
J.P. Losman Division
29. Eli Manning (LW: 31)
It appears we might be nearing the end of Manning’s time as starting quarterback for the New York Giants. It’s fashionable to bash him, but Manning is one of the team’s iconic players, winning two Super Bowls. Unfortunately, his glory days are far behind him.
28. Gardner Minshew (LW: 30)
Minshew is everything you can imagine in terms of entertainment, but he’s still widely unknown as a quarterback. After going for 275 yards in Week 1, Minshew was held to 213 yards in a 13-12 loss to Houston.
27. Teddy Bridgewater (LW: NA)
Bridgewater will be at the helm for the next month and change. He was average on Sunday, but when playing with the Minnesota Vikings there was real promise. Hopefully for New Orleans’ sake, he can recapture that magic.
26. Mitchell Trubisky (LW: 25)
The Bears need so much more from Trubisky. He was sheltered last year and somehow, feels even more so this season. Throwing for 120 yards in 2019 is rancid.
25. Joe Flacco (LW: 24)
Flacco has actually been decent for the Broncos. So why so low on the list? Limited player behind a horrible offensive line. Flacco has thrown for 560 yards on 6.9 yards per attempt with only one interception, but the Broncos are 0-2.
24. Jameis Winston (LW: 29)
Which Winston are we getting in Week 3? The first game saw a trio of picks including two returned for scores. Last Thursday, we watched Winston guide the Buccaneers to a 20-14 road win. The Giants await.
