Fantasy football picks: Week 3 TNF Titans vs. Jaguars

Gardner Minshew – The “Magic Mustache” is back in action for this Thursday night clash on prime-time television. The Titans secondary was touted as the weak point of this defense coming into the new season. However, they have been rock solid through the first two games. Minshew has also been solid for the Jags, posting only one interception, on three scores, and a solid 78% completion rate.

This will be his most difficult test so far, considering he had two-weak defenses in his only two games. The emergence of DJ Chark, has really opened up this once stale passing offense, and he has become the favorite target for the young quarterback. Minshew would be my preferred quarterback to play in this game, especially because Mariota has a terrible match-up.

Derrick Henry – This is the moment that all of us Titans fans have been waiting for. Henry has been phenomenal to start this season, and he is getting the opportunity to prove that he will be a special back in this league. Dion Lewis has been virtually non-existent in the first two games of the season, and Henry has surprisingly gotten a few passing targets.

He has put up a total of 252 yards and three scores in the first two games, while only getting 54% of the snaps. Yes, Jacksonville has a great defense, but occasionally they give up some yards on the ground. Henry bullied them last season, and I expect more of the same in this game.
