Odell Beckham Jr., Wide Receiver, Cleveland Browns

Odell Beckham Jr. returned to MetLife Stadium with a bang, catching six passes for 161 yards and an 89-yard touchdown against the Jets on Monday night. OBJ proved to anyone who may have thought otherwise that he is, indeed, a “dynamic playmaker”, after a certain defensive coordinator questioned his abilities prior to the game.

This is the Odell Beckham that you drafted in the first or second round. The one-hand catch. The explosive run after catching the slant. Beckham and Mayfield clearly have a strong connection and that should bode very well for both of their fantasy stock moving forward.

Odell put up 28.1 fantasy points this week which was third among receivers. Beckham is a top 10 fantasy receiver after two weeks, and should stay in that range for the remainder of the season. The Browns still have work to do, but even against the struggling Jets, a glimmer of hope was good to see for fantasy owners.

Julio Jones, Wide Receiver, Atlanta Falcons

Julio Jones torched the Eagles secondary on Sunday night. He caught five passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns, including a 54-yard TD with 2:03 remaining in the game that ultimately gave the Falcons the win.

After ending his long-lasted touchdown drought last season, Julio has been managing to find the end zone more and more often. Already regarded as one of the top receivers in the league, Julio is making it hard for anyone to be placed above him in that conversation.

Scoring 27.6 fantasy points this week and 42.7 so far on the year, Jones ranks one spot above Beckham as WR8 after two weeks, and was one slot below Beckham was WR4 in week two.

Julio was drafted in the first or early second rounds of drafts for a reason. He always seems to find a way to score fantasy points, even if he doesn’t find pay dirt. With three touchdowns in his first two games, Julio is proving to be as dangerous as ever.
