DFS advice – TE’s to start

Austin Hooper (ATL) @ IND

Hooper is another solid tight end option to go to if you’re running low on choices. He’s got the eighth-most receiving yards (55.5/gm) among active tight ends and is sixth in targets (75/gm) at the position as well. Outside of Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley, Hooper is one of Matt Ryan’s top weapons. Also, Hooper has been extremely efficient catching passes coming his way as he’s only dropped two so far (86.6% catch rate). For about the last year or so, Hooper has proven to be a safe fantasy option at the tight end position. It will be no different for this week either.

Mark Andrews (BAL) @ KC

One of the pleasant surprises of the 2019 season is Mark Andrews of the Baltimore Ravens. At this very moment, he is leading tight ends in receiving yards (110/gm), second in receptions (8.0/gm), and fifth in yards after the catch (3.3/tgt). He’s becoming one of Lamar Jackson’s favorite options to go to, accounting for nearly 28% of his passes. In a thin tight end class, Andrews is a must-start choice especially with a questionable Chiefs’ secondary coming up. He could eventually become a weekly starter if he can keep up this trend.

Will Dissly (SEA) vs. NO

A pair of touchdowns on five catches for 50 yards will definitely catch the eyes of many. Will Dissly capitalized on a struggling Steelers defense last week as Russell Wilson got him more involved in Seattle’s passing game. Dissly has yet to drop a pass in this young season and is proving he can be a reliable piece for Wilson. The Seahawks will be hosting the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, and their secondary has been shaky, to say the least. Dissly could be one of the wild-card surprises once again for this week in fantasy.
