NFL DraftKings: Wide Receivers

Julio Jones $7,300

When was the last time Julio Jones was only the 5th highest priced wide receiver on a slate? Top Colts cornerback Pierre Desir has already been ruled out for this matchup due to a knee contusion, so expect Julio to see quite a few snaps lined up across from rookie cornerback, Rock Ya-Sin. Welcome to the NFL, rook.

Kenny Golladay $6,600

If Matthew Stafford watches Monday Night Football, it’s likely that he was drooling every time Calvin Ridley or Julio Jones made a big play. The Eagles secondary was atrocious against the Falcons wide receivers and let’s not forget that they were thrashed by Terry McLaurin in Week 1. Golladay has been a target monster for the Lions and Philadelphia doesn’t have anyone who can match up with the big 6’4” wideout.

Stefon Diggs $6,000

Let’s ignore Diggs’ stats from Week 1 when he was playing injured and focus on last Sunday’s game. He was targeted 7 times, and while he only reeled in one catch, it was a 49 yard touchdown. He had another touchdown called back due to a penalty and Cousins just missed him on another deep ball. It’s rare for a wide receiver with Diggs’ talent to be priced this low and I think we can take advantage of the misconception that he’s really struggling this year and grab him at low ownership. If you need proof that the Raiders secondary is vulnerable, call your friend who is an Oakland fan and ask him to tell you who Demarcus Robinson is.
