Re-refocused

After pledging to get refocused, only to do so and then lose to Noam Dar at TakeOver: Cardiff, Travis Banks needs to get re-refocused. Good thing there’s no better way to back into the swing of things than taking on the most imposing member of the NXT UK J.O.B. Squad, Tyson T-Bone.

Banks looks mad and ready to rage, but is he perhaps letting his emotions get the best of him? Possibly, because it isn’t long until T-Bone is punching him with that hand that has a tattoo of the Virgin Mary on it. Perhaps Banks’ mind is still lingering on TakeOver, where he was finally able to compete after injury kept him off the last, but was outsmarted by the resident scamp of the entire WWE roster.

Here he endures the same mistake that cost him the TakeOver match, going up top for his Slice of Heaven kick, but being stopped by his opponent attacking him from behind. T-Bone follows that up by suplexing him off the top turnbuckle for a two-count. Thankfully for Banks however, he regains his composure — or maybe that big bump made him remember he works best as a scrappy underdog — and reverses a subsequent standing Suplex attempt into an inside cradle for the win.

Travis Banks: he’s angry, but still clear-headed enough to remember who he is in the ring. For T-Bone, he’s hopeful that he’ll one day figure out who he is too.
