NXT UK recap, September 18: The one with the British Rounds match
By Jeremy Klein
Everything else
Again highlighting the “and the rest” portion of the episode is another backstage segment with Noam Dar and Trent Seven. As Seven makes his way through the arena, there is Dar with a megaphone to announce to anyone who will listen — really anyone within earshot, it’s a megaphone — that Trent Seven is a dafty. All well and good, fair play, quality rib.
Then Dar takes things a little too far for some tastes, proudly proclaiming British Strong Style to be dead. Seven doesn’t like that and gets in Dar’s face to him know that’s not cool, and also ask who hides in a car park with a megaphone. Dar doesn’t stop though as Seven walks away, causing Seven to charge back at him, bringing in random people standing around to break things up. We’ll see if the megaphone makes an appearance next week, when Dar and Seven wrestle in the main event.

The disembodied backstage interviewer of NXT UK catches up with Kay Lee Ray to address last week’s verbal confrontation with Tegan Nox. Ray is basically like “eh sure whatever, anytime anywhere works for me too.” So that match is made official for two weeks from now.
Speaking of the NXT UK women’s division, Radzi still can’t seem to find Toni Storm and yet again cannot interview her. Luckily, Gallus are available to the press and let it be known that they still consider themselves the No. 1 contenders to the NXT UK tag team titles. Radzi is too scared to follow up. Starting to think Radzi may not be the interviewer we thought he was.
Oh, and Imperium showed up on NXT! Looks like WALTER and KUSHIDA May be headed for an ALL-CAPS BATTLE. Read more about it on Matt Black’s NXT recap!
That will do it for this week’s NXT UK recap. On a scale of one to 10, how British is Kassius Ohno to you? Excited at the idea of a Rhea Ripley/Jazzy Gabert match? Joseph Conners moving the needle at all? Blur or Oasis?
