Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (Last Week: No. 5)

Moving up one spot this week is Dak Prescott. In Week Two the Cowboys beat the Redskins on the backs of Prescott and Elliott. Through two games Prescott has only 11 incompletions on 62 throws, coming out to an 82.3 completion percentage. He also has seven touchdowns to only one interception.

Amid his contract negotiations, Dak has been a professional and let his play on the field do the talking. Per ProFootballTalk of NBC Sports, Dak and the Cowboys continue to near towards an extension that will put the fourth-year signal caller in “rare air” according to Cowboys, EVP, Stephen Jones.

At No. 4, Dak has been exceptional even as arguably the fourth best quarterback in the NFL this season. The two-time Pro Bowl quarterback is looking to keep his team atop the NFC East in a division race that figures to be between just them and the Eagles.

Going forward, the Cowboys have a matchup against the Dolphins this week. As close to a guaranteed win as you can get, expect to see Prescott put up more gaudy MVP-like numbers, further vaulting him to the top of the MVP conversation.
