DraftKings NFL GPP pivots: Wide Receivers

Chalk: Larry Fitzgerald, Nelson Agholor, Chris Godwin

Pivots: Kenny Golladay, Calvin Ridley, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, James Washington

The secret is getting out about Kenny Golladay apparently because according to FanShare Sports, he’s trending up in a big way. I still think we can get him at lower ownership than some of the chalkier guys listed above and that this Lions passing game gets overlooked in general on this slate.

Golladay has been targeted 19 times by Stafford in the Lions’ first two games and has secured a touchdown catch in each of them. He’s a big receiver who is a match-up problem for this Eagles secondary and we saw another guy of his stature, Julio Jones, destroy the Eagles once again last Sunday night.

At 6.6k he’s fairly priced but significantly more than some of the really popular bargain receivers this week and I absolutely love him in this spot.

While we are talking about big receivers who dominated the Eagles, Calvin Ridley is a guy I am enamored with this week and really just in general. I have a lot of him on my best ball teams and reached for him in drafts this summer.

He is coming off an 8 catch game against Philly in which he racked up 105 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets.

Watching the Falcons offense, it’s clear that Matt Ryan continues to grow his confidence in Ridley and doesn’t hesitate to target him in one-on-one coverage. If teams are going to try to take Julio out of the game by using bracket coverage, Ryan is going to make them pay by targeting Ridley.

He’s a big-time match-up problem for corners across the league and I want a lot of him this week while he is still relatively cheap on DraftKings.
