DraftKings NFL GPP pivots: Tight Ends

Chalk: Mark Andrews, Zach Ertz, Travis Kelce

Pivots: Will Dissly, Jason Witten, Greg Olsen

I’m really interested in paying down at tight end this week as it looks like the high-priced tight ends are going to soak up the majority of the ownership once again.

Greg Olsen is the most popular of my trio of cheap tight ends, but I’m still seeing his ownership around half of the more expensive guys.

The Panthers will be quarterbacked by Kyle Allen this week, not Cam Newton, but Olsen’s importance to this offense should transcend whoever is under center. He’s been targeted 9 times in each of the first two games and will be facing an Arizona team that was gashed by T.J. Hockenson in week one and Mark Andrews last week.

Will Dissly busted out in a big way last week with 5 catches for 50 yards and two touchdowns against the Steelers. The match-up against the Saints looks bad on paper, but I think Dissly is a great play this week as he is one of the more talented targets for Russell Wilson in the Seattle passing offense.

Jason Witten hasn’t been targeted all that much by his quarterback Dak Prescott with only four targets in each of the Cowboys’ first two games, but he has reached paydirt in both of those games.

Prescott clearly trusts the future Hall-of-Fame tight end and his presence in the passing game has really rounded this Dallas offensive unit into a formidable one.

He’s still really cheap and a good bet to get in the end zone again this week against this terrible Dolphins defense. Both Dissly and Witten are projecting at extremely low ownership and have two touchdown upside with their red zone prowess.
