Fantasy football picks: Week 3 FanDuel GPP QB’s

Tom Brady – Coming into this week he is currently questionable with a calf injury, but it is looking like he will play against the Jets. With a slew of other quarterbacks looking very popular, it could be another of those weeks where Tom flys under the radar. He had been vintage Brady through two games putting up six total touchdowns, over 600 yards, zero interceptions, and a 69% completion rate. New York has struggled this year, not only with various injuries to key players, but they also gave up big performances to Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield. With the addition of Antonio Brown, the sky is truly the limit for Brady, the price is still too cheap, and the Patriots should put up some big points.

Jimmy Garoppolo – I don’t want to be the guy chasing game logs, but my goodness did Jimmy G look good last week. He had a 68% completion rate, three scores and 300 yards. This game with Pittsburgh should be a shootout, and with the way that Steeler secondary has been playing, the projected ownership on Garoppolo is far too low. This is a spot that I mentioned the last week with Wilson, and he also had a huge game against them. The Niners offense has been clicking early, this is the time to ride the hot hand.

Russell Wilson – Speaking of Wilson, he is yet again projected as one of the lowest owned quarterbacks on the day. In classic FanDuel fashion, they have also refused to raise his price even though he put up 300 yards and three scores last week. Oh and not to mention a massive 82% completion rate. Wilson is a great quarterback, plain and simple. I write him up each week because nobody plays him, and you can see the results speak for themselves. With future star DK Metcalf in town, I think Carroll will slowly let Russell take over this offense, and pass the ball more often.
