Fantasy football picks: Week 3 FanDuel GPP RB’s

Dalvin Cook – This might not end up being a lower owned player, but I really do not care. Come Sunday, if you tell me Cook will be 100% owned, I’m still playing the guy in tournaments. Cook is going to lead the league in rushing yards if he stays healthy. That is not a hot take by any means. Through two games, he has played 70% of the snaps, averaging 20 carries per game, over 260 yards, and three scores. Oakland has actually been good against the rush so far this year, but terrible against the pass. This game should get out of hand early, leading to extra carries down the stretch for the star running back.

Kerryon Johnson – This will be the second consecutive week Kerryon has been mentioned in this article. For whatever reason Detroit feels like they should have a committee approach in the backfield. This may be changing, however, since they released CJ Anderson and picked Paul Perkins. The snap count after last week was, Kerryon 55% and CJ 25%. So do I think they just give Paul Perkins that 25% snap count? Absolutely not, there is no chance that happens because to be honest, Perkins doesn’t even belong in the league. This is a situation where I think they give Kerryon his proper workload, and we finally get to see what this man can do. At 6.6k I am more than willing to take a chance on him.

Sony Michel – This will be a repeat of last week’s performance for Sony. The game script is exactly the same, against a defense that is not stopping anybody, especially in the running game. Sony is stuck splitting carries with two other backs, but that is only in games where the Pats are playing competitive football. This is not one of those games. Last week in a blowout win, Michel ran 21 times for 81 yards and a score. This is a great price tag below 7k, and he has 20 point upside.
