Fantasy football picks: Week 3 FanDuel GPP WR’s

Kenny Golladay – This is one of my lock in receivers of the week. Matt Stafford’s favorite young target, put up a great performance last week, with 117 yards on nine catches and a score. The Eagles do not have any healthy corners right now, leaving the backups to be put in these starting positions, and they have been burned early. Golladay is the new “Megatron” in Detroit, with a massive height advantage over these smaller corners, I am expecting another great game this Sunday.

DeAndre Hopkins – The best receiver in the game never comes cheap, but he is every bit worth the price tag. A likely candidate to get overlooked, especially with so many high priced running backs on the slate, DeAndre gets a match-up that the man above just exposed last week. TY Hilton also torched this secondary in week one, see a pattern here? Top receivers are burning the Chargers. Hopkins has one blowup game, and one dud so far. With last week’s performance a likely floor game, he is in the top five each year in air yards, targets, touchdowns, and total yards. This is a high-end GPP winning play.

Calvin Ridley – Ok I think it’s safe to say that last year’s numbers were not a fluke. This kid is nasty, with more targets per game than last year, and already at two scores and 170 yards. The Colts will focus on Julio leaving Ridley to streak down the sidelines once again. FanDuel must have forgotten to increase player pricing because this 6.5k tag is a complete joke. Ridley has massive upside and a surprisingly high floor.

Deebo Samuel – After a great game last week against the Bengals, Deebo is dirt cheap against Pittsburgh and that terrible secondary. Deebo has actually led all receivers with a 63% snap rate, which is kind of a surprise considering he came into the season as the third or fourth option on the depth chart. He showed plenty of promise during the pre-season and camps though and has gotten plenty of targets to justify a cheap price tag in this spot.
