NFL DFS Week 3: Cash game breakdown
NFL DFS Week 3: Cash game breakdown
Amari Cooper – FD $7700 DK $7500
Ok it’s not quite like the Raiders last week. Don’t play all of the Cowboys in DFS but a stack is beyond reasonable. I’ll say it one more time a little louder for the people in the back – THE JV MIAMI DOLPHINS.
It’s gotten so bad the NFL has literally called in the competition committee to ensure the Dolphins aren’t purposely tanking (which obviously they are). Dak and Cooper are a high powered duo and they’re in the best spot of the year. When you add in that Michael Gallup is out it just gets that much tastier for Cooper.
Mike Evans – FD $7100 DK $6600
I don’t think Evans will be DFS chalk or anything but I do think he’s worth a look. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen him at such a low price and sadly it’s warranted. He was sick last week and Jameis has been sick since he came into the NFL hey-oh!
But seriously can you imagine a guy like Mike Evans with an actual good quarterback? It’d be pretty amazing. Godwin has been the guy and people are taking victory laps on him being the number one in this offense but Evans is the more talented player. Whether that shows up in fantasy stats or not is to be determined.
Curtis Samuel – FD $5900 DK $4800
Ok it’s a bit sketchy in DFS cash games with a backup quarterback but they have had a connection in preseason games. It’s worth taking a look and monitoring where you expect Samuel’s ownership to be when Sunday gets closer.
I like him on DraftKings at this price but I don’t know if he’ll be a high volume receiver in the offense with the backup. It’s a wildcard for cash but if he gets a big play touchdown then you’re all set.
Other wide receivers I like in DFS games this week that I didn’t write up here are Kenny Golladay and Keenan Allen. They are both looking relatively popular and are in good spots.
