NFL FanDuel: Week 3 QB Targets – (Early Only)

Lamar Jackson – $8,500 – (Cash)

I am not sure we can fade Jackson anymore until his price is up there with Patrick Mahomes at this point. Jackson is proving he can throw the ball with accuracy thus far through two games, and after a 120-yard rushing game to go along with his 272 yards passing and two touchdowns last week against the Cardinals, $8,500 here against another less than stellar defense feels like a lock.

Jackson has a huge target in TE Mark Andrews who emerging as an elite pass-catching option, and the addition of Marquise Brown through the draft and the signing of free agent RB Mark Ingram is looking to be exactly what this offense needed to get to that next level. Jackson is averaging 32.2 FDP through the first two weeks, and with all of the value we have at WR this week, I am paying up here. This game at Arrowhead will be close, and I think Jackson has another huge fantasy week.

Josh Allen – $7,500 – (Cash/GPP)

Here we are again. I actually just realized I wrote up Jackson last week as well. I hate to be repetitive, but the advantage of the QB who has the ability to score on the ground is a huge asset in cash games. Allen’s price went nowhere, and his Bills will face the Bengals at home, and Cincinnati has been abysmal against the run. We saw what San Francisco did last week, and I think Allen will approach 100 rushing yards this week.

The Bengals are decent against the pass, but with the Bills losing dynamic rookie Devin Singletary to a minor injury this week we are going to see as much of 36-year-old Frank Gore as he can handle. I think Allen will have the green light to run whenever he can in this one because solely because they will be relying on Gore and possibly T.J. Yeldon to handle the load in the backfield.

***Also Consider: Patrick Mahomes $9,200 (GPP) – Matthew Stafford $6,900 (Value)***
