NFL FanDuel: Week 3 RB Targets – (Early Only)

Dalvin Cook – $8,300 – (Cash)

Cook is leading the league in rushing through two games, and there is little chance the Vikings stop feeding him at any point this season if he stays healthy. He has found the end zone three times, and when you look at the fact that he is averaging over 25 FDP per game, and the Vikings will face Oakland at home, this is an easy lock in all formats this week. Coach Zimmer wants to run the rock, and the situation for Cook fantasy-wise could not be better. Honestly, with what Cook has done in the last couple of weeks, $8,300 is still too cheap.

Mark Ingram – $7,100 – (GPP)

I am going back and forth on Ingram and Marlon Mack. Both get the type of volume you would look for for your FLEX spot, but both have some things working against them as well. Mack is banged up, and did not practice until Friday, and was still limited. If he goes, he is still an injury risk so I am not sure he exactly cash safe at this point.

Ingram has been great to start with new squad averaging almost six yards-per-carry in the early goings, but his reps have limited a bit. My take on that is just they have not needed him to carry the load as much with the emergence of Jackson and the passing game. This Ravens offense is the real deal and they are going to score a ton of points this season. The only thing working against Ingram this week is the game script. If the Ravens get down big early they may be forced to pass, but I think the stay in this game the whole way.

There are a ton of options on this small slate at the position, and with Cook and Zeke locks, there are some different ways to go. People will pay down to Frank Gore in cash but I just cannot get on board with that. Sony Michel and James White will likely also get some looks against the Jets as well now that the Antonio Brown saga is over in New England. If go anywhere other than Ingram or Mack though in cash here I think it will be with Devonta Freeman, who will face the Colts who will be without run-stopper Darius Leonard.

***Also Consider or FLEX: Ezekiel Elliot $8,800 (LOCK) –  Marlon Mack $7,000 (Quest – Check Status) – Devonta Freeman $6,200 (GPP)- Frank Gore $5,700 (GPP – Value)***
