NFL FanDuel: Week 3 DEF Targets – (Early Only)

New England Patriots – $5,000 – (Cash)

If you read this last week, I hope you saw just the Patriots up there as the recommendation, and then completely ignored my explanation as to why I was paying down to the Steelers. All it cost me at the end of the day was a min-cash in GPP’s as I was still able to hang in cash games, but man that was a prime example of paying down at the wrong spot.

Thankfully, there is so much viable value at the WR position this week that I will not make the same mistake again. Now the Jets are better than the Dolphins (I think?), but the fact that they or on their third-string QB in Luke Falk makes them my top play. Not to mention, this is just a very good New England defense.

The Cowboys are the same price, and they will face the lowly Dolphins this week making them a top play as well, but Miami is making the change to Josh Rosen at QB this week, and at the very least it should give this team a much-needed spark.  I would play either Dallas or New England this week in cash games as a lock play, I toyed with paying down to the Vikings as I think they have their way with Oakland at home for the most part on Sunday, but I think I will save that for GPP if I even need to go there.

***Also Consider: Dallas Cowboys $5,000 – Minnesota Vikings $4,200***
