Daniel Jones under 260 yards (-120)

Daniel Jones is playing the first game of his career with a recently-concussed Sterling Shepard, while Cody Latimer may also miss the game. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are licking their chops after injuries to Drew Brees and Cam Newton blew the NFC South wide open. Vernon Hargreaves is playing better in the Bucs secondary. Also, Jones needs an entirely different offense to succeed, and we don’t think Pat Shurmur is going to rework that in one week. Expect a lot of Saquon Barkley, and maybe some conservative throws to this depleted receiving core.

Patrick Mahomes over 305 yards (-145)

One of the secrets of the betting world is that oddsmakers usually don’t spend as much time on prop bets than they do on money lines and over/unders. To make up for this, they make the betting lines higher. This is one of those situations. Obviously, the Ravens have a good defense, but we see this being a shot-for-shot matchup with Lamar Jackson. We expect him to crush the 305 yards on this line.

Teddy Bridgewater under 32.5 pass attempts (-120)

The New Orleans Saints are a team that loves to switch up the offense to confuse defenses. It’s a luxury one can have when Drew Brees is under center. It’s not such a luxury when Teddy Bridgewater is trotting out there. The Saints are going to try some experimental things with Taysom Hill, which will take away from Bridgewater’s attempts. We actually expect Hill to take about 30 percent of the attempts, making it close to impossible for Bridgewater to hit this number. This might be a sure bet this week.
