4. Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin

Whenever the Wisconsin Badgers are at their best, their riding star running back Jonathan Taylor to success. And in their biggest test of the 2019 season to this point, taking on the Michigan Wolverines, that’s exactly what they did. The result was yet another big day for the running back who is running right into the top tier of the Heisman Trophy race.

Taylor torched Jim Harbaugh’s team on Saturday to the tune of 23 carries for 203 yards and two touchdowns, dominating a massive Big Ten opponent. In just three games on the year now, Taylor has 58 carries for 440 yards and seven touchdowns while also adding three receiving touchdowns as well. He’s been as good as advertised and shows no signs of slowing down.

3. Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

For anyone thinking that the Joe Burrow train is going to get derailed, you probably didn’t enjoy what he did to the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday. The LSU Tigers quarterback has been the catalyst for a shockingly high-powered offense that they’ve put on display this season and that remained the case as they hung 66 points on Vandy in Nashville in Week 4.

Burrow looked the part of a stud quarterback on Saturday as he went 25-of-34 for 398 yards and six touchdowns. That gives the Ohio State transfer now has 1,520 yards passing, 17 touchdowns, just two interceptions and a rushing touchdown on his stat sheet this year. And while leading the No. 4 ranked team in the country, he’s clearly money in the 2019 season.
