Fantasy football picks: Week 3 MNF Bears vs. Redskins

Mitchell Trubisky – Mitch has been about as bad as well expected him to be so far this season. This game against Washington could be the match-up we have been waiting for. Denver and Green Bay are not easy tasks by any means, and Washington is the 30th ranked defense in the league. Obviously there has not been much to like about Trubisky but this is purely a match-up based play. The pace of this game should be pretty decent, and I think this will be a very popular play, although how you should use him in your lineup is a much different story that we shall discuss in the “Game Theory” portion of this article.

Allen Robinson – If we are going to mention Mitch we should probably mention the best position player on the Bears offense. He has 20 targets on the season and is the obvious top option for Trubisky. He plays virtually every snap on offense, has 143 yards, but had yet to find the end zone. Assuming that he can beat Josh Norman on individual coverage, this will be a great spot for Robinson to put up that monster game, and finally score a touchdown. His route running has looked elite so far, and a lot of his production has been dependent on Mitch actually putting the ball where it is supposed to be. I don’t mind targeting Norman depending on who the receiver is. Some may shy away from that match-up, but on a single game slate, priced at 13k, he should be popular.
