Fantasy football picks: Week 3 MNF Bears vs. Redskins

Vernon Davis – Well it’s the Davis show in Washington now with Jordan Reed in danger of his career being ended due to concussions. Vernon has gotten eleven targets scoring one touchdown. He is not the most exciting play, but he is cheap at 7.5k on FanDuel. We also saw Jimmy Graham have some success scoring the only touchdown against this stingy Bears defense in week one. This is my favorite value play on this slate.

Taylor Gabriel – Gabriel is really cheap at 6.5k, and is seeing a very solid 90% offensive snap rate, which is second highest next to Robinson, and it is a very far drop off between Gabriel and the other four receivers who are basically splitting the third starting spot. If Robinson gets shadowed by Norman, this could be a really nice spot for Gabriel, who has been very quiet in two games. Seeing seven targets, with zero production. This is a solid value play, with a low floor, but a high ceiling.

Adam Shaheen – We will assume as of right now that Burton does not start in this game. Shaheen has led the tight ends with a 42% snap count, even in the game Burton did play he saw some decent work. Shaheen is minimum priced, and the Bears should be in the red-zone often enough for Shaheen to potentially get a few looks at a touchdown.
