Fantasy football picks: Week 3 MNF Bears vs. Redskins

Game theory is something that I have had to really work on going into this season, and it really takes your game to the next level once you start to get the hang of it. With single-game slates, game theory is a little bit different due to the 1.5x MVP point slot. Usually, this spot is used for the most popular play on the slate, which is normally a quarterback. However, I will tell you a little secret, very rarely do chalk MVP quarterbacks win you a single game tourney.

Trubisky is a great option for the MVP spot in cash games and should be one of the more popular players at that position. Some people may use Keenum there, but I just don’t like that play personally, against the stingy Bears defense. I will always try to attack the weaker defense, even if it means playing a guy that I do not like as much.

I will have Robinson in my MVP cash lineup more than likely. We could get a slight reduction in ownership on him there, and the individual match-up will scare people off him. With plenty of value plays, we can really approach this from multiple angles. I will have plenty of interest in both of these Bears in the bonus spot, and to add a third name into the mix, Montgomery is a candidate for the MVP position, in tourneys. I love the match-up, game script, and price for him, along with the increased workload last time out, this is one of my favorite plays on the day.
