Fantasy Football Advice: Stats, Facts, and Tidbits

Marlon Mack is the only back in the NFL that is averaging 20 carries per game. He hasn’t factored into the passing game much with only four receptions but will face an Oakland defense that was carved up by Dalvin Cook and the Vikings last week.

Patrick Mahomes has 18 completions of 20 yards or more which is two more than Lamar Jackson and Philip Rivers. But he has 8 completions of 40 yards or more which is twice as many several others who only have 4. The Chiefs vertical passing game continues to be lethal this season.

Speaking of Mahomes, at 9200 dollars on FanDuel this week he’s the most expensive player on the slate (other than the injured Saquon Barkley).

You could argue that paying up at quarterback has been the right strategy so far on FanDuel. The top four FanDuel point scorers this season have been Mahomes, Prescott, Jackson, and Russell Wilson. The only non-quarterback to outscore those four on Draftkings has been Keenan Allen

Alvin Kamara struggled in week 2 after Drew Brees was hurt in that game, but bounced back in a huge way in week 3 with 161 total yards and two touchdowns, which was good enough for 37.1 Draftkings points, fifth-most on the slate.

With a two-touchdown game on Sunday night, Cooper Kupp continues to be a major scoring threat with his buddy Jared Goff at quarterback. Kupp now has 13 career touchdowns in only 26 games total and 31 targets over his first three games this season.
