Joe Montana Division

4. Russell Wilson (LW: 3)

Wilson is on pace for 4,800 yards and almost 40 touchdowns on a team with a second-round rookie in D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and a tight end named Will Dissly. Can you imagine if he had top-tier talent and scheming around him?

3. Aaron Rodgers (LW: 4)

Rodgers isn’t lighting up scoreboards. In fact, the Packers’ defense has far outshined the offense to this point. Still, Rodgers has one of the league’s best skill sets and is growing into the new scheme. Smart money says he’s ready to start putting up huge numbers.

2. Tom Brady (LW: 2)

Brady is having another amazing year at age 42. The man immune to Father Time has already thrown for 911 yards with seven touchdowns and no turnovers in his latest jaunt through the league.

1. Patrick Mahomes (LW: 1)

This spot is locked down better than any time in this series’ history. Mahomes has 1,195 yards on 10.5 yards per attempt with 10 touchdowns and no interceptions. He’s leading the NFL in all those categories. Mahomes is also completing 71.9 percent of his throws despite going deep constantly. We might be watching one of the great tour de forces in league history.
