PGA: Safeway Open course breakdown and key stats

You’ll find all the stats you need on the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour websites. We also love our friends at FantasyNational.com where they have laid out player trends in a very organized matter. I will be looking to roster players who have the ability to find fairways not always prioritizing distance, those who have shown a considerable spike in strokes gained approach and those who have a good scrambling percentage. Using this strategy I have organized these Key Stats from top to bottom in terms of priority:

  1. Strokes Gained Approach Proximity 100-150
  2. Strokes Gained Approach Proximity 150-175
  3. Strokes Off The Tee and Driving Accuracy (Also Consider proximity 200+, lots of long irons off the tees)
  4. Strokes Gained BS (Ball Striking)
  5. Strokes Gained ARG (Around the Green)
  6. Scrambling %
  7. Putting Average (Consider this last and a little bit since Average 3 putts at this event are a fraction higher than tour average)
