Early DraftKings college football core plays September 28:

A large DraftKings college football slate like this can be overwhelming. My best advice is to find the best units with the best matchups and go from there. You can target the massive over/under totals, like Oklahoma-Texas Tech, but keep in mind that others will be doing the exact same thing. That’s fine in cash games, but for GPP’s you are looking for something a little different.

Cash game staples:

Jalen Hurts, QB, Oklahoma

Jamie Newman, QB, Wake Forest

AJ Dillon, RB, Boston College

Darius Anderson, RB, TCU

Deshaunte Jones, WR, Iowa State

CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma

T.J. Vasher, WR, Texas Tech

The idea with GPP plays is to go somewhere different. If you think everyone is going to be on Pittman, switching to someone with the same amount of potential at lower ownership and preferably lower cost will get you a leg up on the competition. These plays are ways to get separation, not to anchor your lineups.

GPP plays:

Brock Purdy, QB, Iowa State

Carter Stanley, QB, Kansas

Jordan Mason, RB, Georgia Tech

Re’Mahn Davis, RB, Temple

Sage Surratt, WR, Wake Forest

Andrew Parchment, WR, Kansas

Charleston Rambo, WR, Oklahoma

Quartney Davis, WR, Texas A&M
