Fantasy football picks: Week 4 TNF Eagles vs. Packers

Aaron Rodgers – This is going to be the most popular play of the slate, especially at the MVP position. At 15k he is the highest-priced player as well, which makes little to no difference when you account for how bad the Eagles secondary is. They are the 29th ranked passing defense in the league and have been burned by every quarterback they have faced this year.

Rodgers has been pretty unspectacular, passing for less than 300 yards in each game, but only one turnover on four scores. This is the blowup game that we have all been waiting for, and in cash games, Rodgers is a player that I wouldn’t want to fade.

Davante Adams – Projected as one of the top receivers coming into this season, Adams is not living up to those expectations. Averaging fewer targets per game than last season, getting right around 200 yards, for zero scores. The volume is way down, the production is obviously way down, the offense overall has been a massive disappointment for Green Bay.

Obviously a lot of his performance is dependent on his well Rodgers plays, so playing them both together will be a popular route. With an amazing individual match-up, if Devante doesn’t bounce back now than it will difficult to say when he will have that breakout game.
