A new day

Next week, Tegan Nox faces off against NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray. In front of her hometown crowd no less.

A video package aired this week simply recapping everything that she’s been through over the last year. From being a highly-touted pick to win the whole Mae Young Classic, to blowing out her knee — after coming back from blowing out her other knee — against Rhea Ripley, to surgery recovery, to getting over the physical and mental hurdles: yeah, she’s been through a lot. After a super-easy win over Shax a couple of weeks ago, now she’ll finally get to show what she’s all about, one-on-one against the champ.

WALTER showed up at WWE’s UK performance center to bully trainees. It plays out much like his bullying tactics against his own class in Germany, only at least those guys ostensibly eventually get to learn something from having WALTER as a teacher. All these poor saps at the PC get is the smack laid down on their chests by WALTER’s giant hands. In WALTER’s mind, this proves that no one in the entire United Kingdom is taking the sport of wrestling seriously enough. At this rate, he sees himself being champion forever.

Oh yeah, and NXT UK is now moving to Thursdays starting with next week’s episode. Adjust your calendars accordingly, it’s literally a new day, yes it is.

That will do it for this NXT UK recap. Is Noam Dar actually a genius? Looking forward to Jordan Devlin vs. Tyler Bate? Does NXT UK moving to Thursday really just mess up your whole schedule?
