Daily Fantasy Football: Wide Receiver Pivots

Chalk: Keenan Allen, Tyler Lockett, Paul Richardson Jr.

Pivots: Cooper Kupp, Larry Fitzgerald, Sterling Shephard, Curtis Samuel

First of all, let me just say that I think you should play Keenan Allen in a lot of your lineup on Sunday. Cash or GPP, Allen is by far the best option at the position and his price is not all that prohibitive. Going overweight on him in your lineups makes more sense to me than going underweight or fading, the spot is that good.

I had planned to write up Paul Richardson Jr. as a pivot this week off Terry McLaurin, but the latest news that just dropped today sounds like McLaurin is really iffy for Sunday’s game, which will likely elevate Richardson into cash-game chalk territory. I still like him and I plan to use him.

The first two guys I am looking at here are Kupp and Fitzgerald and both are still going to be fairly popular plays. But 12-15% ownership is not something that I am worried about in tournaments and Allen is the only guy that looks to be 20% or more at the position. Kupp is coming off a nice two-touchdown outing against the Browns last week and is averaging ten targets a game. I mentioned him earlier as my favorite receiver to stack with Jared Goff, but if you’re looking to get some Rams exposure without stacking them up then Kupp is my favorite guy.

Larry Fitgerald has played on 100% of the Cardinals snaps this season and has the sixth most targets (31) in the league. He’s an excellent red-zone threat, too, as he’s been targeted six times inside the 20 and three times in the end zone. Like I mentioned with David Johnson, I have some interest in the Arizona big three (with Kyler being the third) just about every week.
