EPL DFS: Goalkeepers

Hugo Lloris (Southampton @ Tottenham, $14) – Tottenham have only allowed 2 goals at home this year, and I don’t expect Southampton to make that number bigger with their weak attack.

Tottenham should also get the win here which would mean both bonuses are likely for Lloris.  If he can make 2-3 saves, he should be right into the mid-20s.  Considering price, floor, and upside I like Lloris a lot on Saturday.

Vicente Guaita (Norwich @ Crystal Palace, $10) – Goalkeepers against Norwich’s attack isn’t usually a match-up I target until I realized that they’ve only scored 1 goal on the road this year.

Now they’re facing a top-tier home defense in Crystal Palace who have only conceded 1 goal at home this year.  The numbers say that a clean sheet is very likely for Guaita, but with him the win bonus is usually rare.

However, I think Palace can get past Norwich’s weak defense and score on Saturday.  Guaita has a good floor with Norwich likely forcing him to make several saves, and he has a massive ceiling if Palace can defend like they normally do at home.

Rui Patricio (Watford @ Wolverhampton, $9) – Watford only have 1 away goal this season as well, but Wolverhampton’s defense is not nearly as good as they were last year right now.  Wolverhampton should win this game and Patricio is averaging 2.2 saves per game, so he has a decent floor in this game.  If Wolverhampton’s defense can return to last year’s form, Patricio is another GK who can boom on Saturday.
