NFL DFS Week 4: Fantasy football cash game breakdown

Daniel Jones – FanDuel $7300 DraftKings $5300

Danny Dimes! Our cover boy and everyone’s projected highest owned quarterback on both sites (but definitely DK), gets a really juicy matchup right after showcasing his talents to the world. Dimes went nuts this past week at min price and didn’t see that big of a bump this week. The Redskins meanwhile are coming off a game where they made Mitch Trubisky actually look like a competent fantasy football quarterback. Let me repeat…Mitch Trubisky who has looked epicly bad so far this year, looked great throwing for a heap of touchdowns against Washington. This could be another nice showing for ole Danny Dimes to come out and throw/run for multiple touchdowns which is great for fantasy football purposes.

Lamar Jackson – FanDuel $8300 DraftKings $6900

He didn’t have an amazing fantasy football showing against the Chiefs like everyone thought he would but it certainly wasn’t bad. In fact I’d probably say it was close to his floor game. He completed half his passes for no touchdowns and less than 300 yards but made his final number of fantasy points look good by rushing for a little less than 50 yards and a touchdown. Rushing touchdowns are worth more than passing in fantasy football anyway so bring on the Lamar era. The Browns were without their best secondary guys last week and the Rams didn’t take full advantage. However, Cooper Kupp went nuts so I’d watch the injury report again to see what’s going on there. I like Lamar either way in a division game here and if the Browns bring the pressure, he’ll just take off and tear them up.

Russell Wilson – FanDuel $7800 DraftKings $6100

Well I certainly would not expect a repeat of last week’s fantasy football performance here but Russ does get a really nice matchup against the fast paced Cardinals who have been quite the sieve on defense. Wilson is capable of doing it all if he’s unleashed by ole Pete Carroll (or if they’re forced to play from behind like last week). Unfortunately, I don’t think the Cardinals will get up fast and early on them like the Saints did forcing Wilson to go nuts in a losing effort. However, he’s still more than capable of exceeding his DFS fantasy football value at this price tag and there are some pass catchers of his that we will touch on later who are going to be cash game / chalk plays this week.
