NFL DFS Week 4: Fantasy football cash game breakdown

Will Dissly – FanDuel $5400 DraftKings $3600

Pictured above is a man who will be a million percent owned in cash games according to my Twitter feed. Also pictured above is a man who is a very average tight end. Dissly is really not very good. There are two primary reasons he is the ultimate cash chalk tight end this week (three I guess if you take into consideration price) – he’s caught three touchdowns the last two weeks and the Cardinals have been horrendous against tight ends so far this year. It makes sense really and I’ll probably end up playing him but I can see him doing terribly for your DFS teams and having a floor game which is legitimately nothing.

Evan Engram – FanDuel $6800 DraftKings $5700

He’s a much larger bargain on DraftKings, especially when you look at how large the price difference is between him and Kelce who is the top tight end. It’s also especially difficult to not like Engram if you find yourself liking Danny Dimes. Last week, Engram was able to showcase a ceiling type game in DFS just like he did the first game this year going over 100 yards and getting a touchdown. He could have an absolute monster game against the Redskins and I see him being plenty good enough for a safe floor this week too. The only way this wouldn’t work out is if Dissly absolutely goes off at super high ownership in your DFS contests.

Darren Waller – FanDuel $6700 DraftKings $5200

The Colts were torn apart last week by Austin Hooper who is a fine tight end but not nearly as athletic or dangerous as Waller. They’re missing a ton of guys on all levels of that defense and while the Raiders and Carr aren’t very good, they’ve shown they’re willing to go to Waller over and over again who is doing great this year. I think he could come in pretty low owned and get a ridiculous 15+ targets. Again, maybe more of a gpp pivot or something but with Dissly being SO high owned, I think it’s worthwhile to look at very solid pivot options in DFS.
