Fantasy Football picks: Week 4 SNF Cowboys vs. Saints
Game theory is something that I have had to really work on going into this season, and it really takes your game to the next level once you start to get the hang of it. With single-game slates, game theory is a little bit different due to the 1.5x MVP point slot.
Usually, this spot is used for the most popular play on the slate, which is normally a quarterback. However, I will tell you a little secret, very rarely do chalk MVP quarterbacks win you a single game tourney.
Game theory will change from slate-to-slate, but I will approach this single game much like the Thursday night one. We have one elite quarterback in an amazing match-up, along with an obvious receiver to pair him with.
Playing Dak in the bonus spot will be popular, paired with Cooper, and Zeke as the pay up plays. If you go that route you will not be able to play Thomas, which is fine in my opinion.
I provided plenty of cheaper options to fill in the rest of the flex spots. If I were to switch any of those three out it would be Cooper, because New Orleans gives up the seventh most points to running backs, so Zeke is going to eat.
In fact, I wouldn’t mind even moving him to the bonus spot in a GPP build over Dak. If you really need the salary and you want to stack up all of the top studs in this article, you have 5.5k left over, so I suppose you could play Blake Jarwin, although I am not a big fan of that pick at all.
