DraftKings Showdown: Flex

JuJu Smith-Schuster – $15,600

Last week JuJu was held in check for most of the game until he hooked up with Rudolph for a 76-yard touchdown late in the third quarter. With only a season-high of eight targets, I am hesitant to put him in the Captain slot. I will use him mostly in the flex but with his game-breaking ability, you should have a few shares of him in your Captain as well.

Andy Dalton – $9,800

The Bengals have had issues running the football this season, putting all the pressure on Dalton to move the football. With a game script that is likely to go against the Bengals, Dalton is likely to be throwing it often tomorrow night. I will be sure to pair Dalton in my flex with any heavy Bengal stacks and or Bengal receivers that are in my Captain.

Mason Rudolph – $9,600

I am unlikely to roster Rudolph as a Captain but do feel as though he is a solid play in the flex. This offense should be able to move the ball against a sub-par defense making both quarterbacks viable in a game stack. If you do have a Steeler pass-catcher as your Captain, be sure to run it back with Rudolph in your flex.

Diontae Johnson – $6,600

One of my favorite receivers in this past draft class, Diontae Johnson has taken over as a starter for this Steelers offense. With such poor play out of Donte Moncrief, Johnson was elevated to the starting lineup last week against the 49ers. He should see the second most snaps and routes run, making him a viable flex play against the Bengals.
