Fantasy Football Advice: Stats, Facts, and Tidbits

Patrick Mahomes (29.4), Lamar Jackson (29.6), and Christian McCaffrey (29.5) are the top per-game scorers on Draftkings through the first four weeks.

Cooper Kupp is having an excellent start to his season, but did you know that he leads all receivers in third-down receptions (12), yards (188), and touchdowns (3). When Jared Goff needs a big play, he’s clearly looking Kupp’s way.

The Broncos may have started 0-4, but second-year receiver Courtland Sutton has been a bright spot for their offense. Sutton has 7 or more targets in all four games this season and leads the NFL in red-zone catches with 7 for 64 yards and two touchdowns.

Leonard Fournette rushed for 225 yards on 29 carries last week against the Broncos after totaling only 179 rushing yards in his first three games combined. He’ll face a Carolina defense that is vulnerable to run in week 5.

Speaking of the Jaguars-Panthers game. It will feature two young quarterbacks who have enjoyed some statistical success with Kyle Allen being the third-highest rated passer in the league through two starts while Gardner Minshew is the seventh-best rated passer in his three and a half games of action. These QBs have combined for 11 touchdowns and only one interception.

The Cowboys will host the Packers this week in a battle of 3-1 teams that both suffered their first losses of the season in week 4. Dak Prescott is 1-1 against the Packers in his career and has averaged 250 yards passing, 3 touchdowns and one interception in those two games although the teams did not face each other last year.
