DENVER, CO – SEPTEMBER 15: Emmanuel Sanders #10 of the Denver Broncos celebrates after scoring a two-point conversion during the second half against the Chicago Bears at Empower Field at Mile High on September 15, 2019 in Denver, Colorado. (Photo by Timothy Nwachukwu/Getty Images) /

Fantasy Football Advice: Stats, Facts, and Tidbits

Emmanuel Sanders is your NFL leader in red-zone targets with 8 and end-zone targets with 5. That’s a bit of a surprise considering the diminutive receiver has been used between the ’20s a lot mainly as a possession receiver who operates primarily the slot.

Home teams are only 29-35 so far through the first four weeks. It might be a little early to read too much into this stat, which could be pretty noisy based on how the schedule has lined up so far this season.

Mark Andrews has the highest “hog rate” of any tight end this season as he’s been targeted on 22.9% of his snaps. He’s still only playing 49% of the snaps, but it’s clear that he’s becoming one of Lamar Jackson’s favorite targets and could make for a compelling play this week against the Steelers.

The 2-2 Chargers are home this week against the 0-4 Broncos. The Bolts are 11-4 against Denver in their last 15 meetings and 6.5 point favorites in this one as of now.

Chase Daniel completed 73.3% of his passes last week after coming into the game for the injured Mitch Trubisky, which puts him ahead of Drew Brees, Dak Prescott, and Russell Wilson on the season (for now!)

Is it officially Tyler Eifert chalk week? After allowing 7 catches, 57 yards, and a touchdown to Will Dissly last week, the Cardinals have now allowed 27 catches, 375 yards, and five touchdowns to tight ends this season. Eifert has largely underwhelmed this season, catching only 11 passes on 16 targets through four games with one touchdown.
