8. Matt Ryan (LW: 8)

Ryan has six interceptions, but the rest of his numbers are great despite playing behind a poor offensive line. The veteran from Boston College has thrown for 1,325 yards, second only to Patrick Mahomes. Ryan is also completing 70 percent of throws while notching a respectable 7.5 yards per attempt.

7. Deshaun Watson (LW: 5)

Watson deserves so much better. The stats say he’s good. The film says he’s awesome, but constantly let down by poor coaching and a non-existent offensive line. If Watson played on a competent team, he’d be in the mix for All-Pro consideration. Alas, he’s saddled with complete nonsense on an annual basis.

6. Dak Prescott (LW: 6)

Prescott is having a breakout year, even with a bit of a clunker against the Saints. The fourth-year pro has 1,143 yards on 9.0 yards per attempt while totaling nine touchdowns. He’s also hitting on 72.4 percent of his throws. It’s hard to see Prescott keeping this pace as the schedule gets harder, but he looks like an elite quarterback right now.

5. Philip Rivers (LW: 7)

Rivers had the equivalent of an energy drink for stats this week, getting to play the Dolphins. It must be nice seeing Miami on the docket, and knowing you can sit back and throw for 300+ without trying. Rivers did exactly that, hitting on 24-of-30 for 310 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
