Week 5 Fantasy Football: Five bounce back players

Zach Ertz – I am completely shocked that Ertz is not having a career year. He has a whopping 38 targets through four weeks, which is top ranked three at the position. He also has gotten 93% of the snaps after many people said Goedert was going to cut into that hefty snap count. Zach has yet to score a touchdown which is the main reason his fantasy value has been so hindered and has caught 50 or more yards in every single game. This feels like one of those weeks, where he is bound to not only score one touchdown but two touchdowns.

Even with Philly looking like they will have a fully healthy group of receivers for this week, it isn’t going to cut into Ertz’s workload. He is way overdue for a touchdown, and the Jets rank 27th against the pass and have been very vulnerable over the middle of the field, giving up plenty of points to opposing tight ends.

This should be a great game for the Philly offense, in a match-up they can expose. This has been a pretty solid offense for most of the season, and the Jets have been much better against the rush in recent weeks. The Eagles have never been much of a run first team, and I highly doubt they will change that approach against a good rush defense. After plenty of sub par performances, this is the week that Ertz explodes.
