Week 5 Fantasy Football: Five bounce back players

Mark Ingram – It has been a pretty productive season for the former Saints running back. He has two very impressive games, with two mediocre games sandwiched I’m between, including a 7.6 point game against Cleveland in week four. It really sucks that he is only getting 50% of the carries, with Edwards and Hill getting the other 50% between them.

He does have five scores in those four games and is getting most of the goal line work while giving up some of the passing work. I would expect him to grab a larger workload in this game, where it will be pretty high scoring, and he should have some great red-zone opportunities.

The Steelers give up the fourth most fantasy points to the running back position and have been struggling for the entire season. Historically the game against the fellow division rivals has been a great one to watch and is always competitive.

The rushing attempts have never been high on Ingram, even going back to the New Orleans days, but that has not been a problem for Mark, who is averaging just over 5 YPC this season. I am sure that Jackson will have plenty of success, and will likely be a popular play, so why not pair him with Mark who is in a prime bounce back spot.
